Plus, you don’t need to pay for the utilities! There’s a plan for short-term stays! Basic knowledge about rent in Japan. Chintai contract is also available for those who plan to stay for more than 1 year! Save on the initial expenses at the Chintai contract but you need a gurantor I believe which I had a decent one.

Hotels are usually costly compared to quarter the price paid for fixed furniture “家具付き” They call it like that cause you find everything fixed “you can’t” move it.

It’s still a bit cramped yet spacious if you are a loner like myself.Most rental apartments (especially studio apartments) in Japan come with very little built-in storage and closets. If you find an apartment with sufficient storage space, it’s definitely something to add to the plus side of the column when considering your rental options. having said that, I found the closet surprisingly spacious

You will likely spend some money buying some 100 yen goods for a quick fix to your kitchen things like shelving or racks so your things do not end up all over the floor (though nothing wrong about that if no one is visiting you, JUST KIDDING!

Bedding and comfort level!

I have dimmed the light cause it’s a bed and I don’t wanna disturb the bed while sleeping 😉 It’s somehow rigid, tough and stiff but they say its healthy this way, so you will get used to it I believe.
