Super markets in Japan are so special and here you will take a very detailed tour and get to know them. Japanese food is so popular and all over the world, you are perhaps lucky to live in a country in which the cuisine is held in such high regard. Maybe you know how sensitive it is to deal with sushi thanks too hygienic Japan sushi is even sold in Supermarkets However, sometimes you are longing for home taste. Fortunately, some supermarkets cater in particular to those wishing to purchase international foods. While products on sale at these stores are often imported and thus come at a substantially higher cost, they are increasingly popular with both locals and ex-pats alike.
Do you like it organized yet expensive!
arrangements of shelving is one of a kind as you enter a supermarket in Tokyo you usually find veggies as you enter along with fresh fruits and as you take a walk you should quickly notice that snacks are near cashiers and usually the beloved and sacred Japanese rice is in a great proximity as well.
How to find those supermarkets and which one is ranked first!
Tokyu store is the most favorable and maybe No.1 supermarket followed by Life and my personal best which is Samito as it brings a great diverse of veggies if you are a vegan.

Maruetsu&Hanamasa
I can’t find much difference to mention here as those are small and diverse located mostly in Shibuya neighborhood. There is a good reason above all to make you visit a supermarket in Tokyo and the reason isn’t only to save some pennies from reducing trips to convenient stores yet the real reason is the cashless checkout as recently you tend not to give your money to anyone but a machine just like in the photo shown , loveyall
