Cuteness in Dubai and how it’s different from Tokyo

Dubai, A city that speaks Arabic, influenced by foreigners who mainly communicate in English creating a melting pot of different opportunities and adventures. With an apparent focus on monetary wealth and material possessions, it is an enormous city located in the middle east, which apparently loved by all middle east due to the fact of being rich, foodie and a traveling hub.

dollTake a look at this little doll here representing white Ghutra, which is the first thing I saw since I was born, The Kufiyyah, Ghutra or shemagh is a traditional Arab headdress fashioned from a piece of square, usually, cotton cloth, typically worn by Arab or Kurdish men. Men wear them because the desert sun bakes the living snot out of your neck. They’re also used to shield your eyes/face during a sandstorm.

UAE is the country which is hosting both vibrant cities Dubai and Abu Dhabi where the latter may sound and look a bit more conservative and the earliest is the just a laid back fun. Women as well have an attire in Dubai that cover their head yet headcover or the black abaya – the loose-fitting, full-length robes symbolic of Islamic piety – as long as their attire is “decent and respectful” may sound like a good option. However, They still need to wear Abaya just for now.

A relatively quick comparison shall be spotted in Tokyo and precisely in Akihabara where I took this photo of a famous Anime character in Tokyo, How different is the taste and which one do you favor?

Are you into a dessert, from which place?

Moving from cute stuff to delicacies, Dubai is just like all Arab countries in so much love with “Dates”, datesChocolate Dates, Dates, in general, raise blood sugar levels almost immediately. Their high carbohydrate content slows down the digestion process leaving you fuller for longer. It is advised to have soup or salad right after the dates to give your body some room to get started, and it is also best to wait for 20 minutes before having your meal.

Take a look at this bun as one of my favorite treatment in Japan, Red bean paste is amongst the most delicious things ever, so long as it’s well prepared, JP buni.e. not cooked until it’s a dry, gritty mush in a generally unpalatable treat. Are you favoring one side, which one Dubai or Tokyo?

I have a strong background in eating both countries cuisine and I really can’t help saying. Both are unique and special.

Chocolate

Have a break, grab Chocolate!

The chocolate tastes sweeter in Dubai and more flakey while in Japan Meiji, Morigana, and Furuta emphasis on making it smooth, creamier and not calorically dense.

Jewels, Galaxy, Milka, Toblerone, and Lindt are famous types to try but you gotta watch your weight especially if you picking a gourmet chocolate such as Patchi.

If you ever come to the middle east don’t forget to ask and try Patchi because only Godiva in Japan can make as such equivalent in terms of richness and flavor.

Fragrance time! Do Japanese love perfumes?

perfume

Well, I have to say that Asian countries, in general, don’t wear perfumes except for a subtle sweet or maybe fruity smell that nice “kawaii” 🙂 girls may smell like yet apart from that it’s a work-oriented environment rather than a chill.

Yet in Dubai, “Oud” is a unique fragrance that can spell magic in my point of view yet it won’t spell anything from other countries point of view 🙂 The scent of Dubai. Oud is a fragrant oil derived from resin and worn traditionally by both Emirati men and women. It has a distinctive, mesmerizing scent that visitors to Dubai will soon learn to recognize and associate with the Emirates.

You can’t arrive in Dubai terminal without instantly get nudged by the strong tree-wood smell fragrance which hits your nose instantly. “I really like it much x”

Have you ever tried eating 24K Gold before! or you are just a 5$ Pizza like myself 🙂

Gold ChocolateFinally, Gold is a big part of the society which is so different from Asian countries. Dubai likes gold, gold chocolate, gold cars, gold whatsoever. So, Today I brought you guys the gold 24K edible chocolate for a luxury meal, I don’t know how nutritious is eating gold but maybe they know better! yet I might be willing to try it if someone would offer a piece for me, thanks a lot!

To sump up, Arabian Oud brings you a wide collection of fragrances that no woman could ever resist! Add an ultimate touch of elegance and supremacy wherever you go, Chocolate is a passion for so many people, so many aspects in Dubai could be marked as a unique feature to Gulf countries and the second largest city in the UAE. If you have the option to endure don’t hesitate to go for it and try to also visit the beautiful city of “Tokyo” so you can get a spell of two diverse, heterogeneous yet harmonious cultures.lovey’all, Mostafa
