When you’re trying to decide whether you can afford to move into a particular apartment in Japan, you should also count your options whether you want a furnished or just a normal rental apartment which they come in different budget hence the latest might be cheaper while the first means more comfort. Remember the other hidden costs involved, not just things like the deposit or key money.
Leo Palace 21 my new apartment in Tokyo, Ready for the journey!
At Leopalace 21’s Monthly contract, the rooms are furnished with air conditioner, bed (loft), table, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, and television. No need for deposit or gratuity fees! Plus, you don’t need to pay for the utilities! There’s a plan for short-term stays! Basic knowledge about rent in Japan. Chintai contract is also available for those who plan to stay for more than 1 year! Save on the initial expenses at the Chintai contract but you need a gurantor I believe which I had a decent one.
A must do experience, Living in Tokyo in a rental furnished apartment.
Hotels are usually costly compared to quarter the price paid for fixed furniture “家具付き” They call it like that cause you find everything fixed “you can’t” move it.
It’s still a bit cramped yet spacious if you are a loner like myself. Most rental apartments (especially studio apartments) in Japan come with very little built-in storage and closets. If you find an apartment with sufficient storage space, it’s definitely something to add to the plus side of the column when considering your rental options. having said that, I found the closet surprisingly spacious
You will likely spend some money buying some 100 yen goods for a quick fix to your kitchen things like shelving or racks so your things do not end up all over the floor (though nothing wrong about that if no one is visiting you, JUST KIDDING!
My table on the left and on the top are my gadgets and biscuits “Sable from 711”, my girlfriend bought it when I first came here so I’m not really a loner as I mentioned before.
Bedding and comfort level!
I have dimmed the light cause it’s a bed and I don’t wanna disturb the bed while sleeping 😉 It’s somehow rigid, tough and stiff but they say its healthy this way, so you will get used to it I believe.
Overall, the comfort level is good except for the fact that I can hear my neighbor eats, walks, and you understand right :)love y’all
One last photo for the record and that’s under the sink!
You can really have a good stay if you can afford to rent one that can be at least within the 5000 yen daily.Have a good stay in Tokyo!
