Ice cream in Japan “Top 3” and a worth mentioning as the fourth!

In Japan there are so many “healthy” ice cream types you can find in the convenient stores which are lower in calories than ordinary ice cream or Baskin Robbins yet Today, I’m talking about the three top ice cream you can buy at convenience stores all across Japan which are moderate in calories, amazing in taste and not pricey.

Words like 試食 and 味見 (SHISOKU and AJIMI) means a lot to Japanese while you think you have a good ice cream at your home country so you have to think again because simply it’s about how safe it’s to eat while still making things delicious. There is no point of gaining many pounds after eating an ice cream that’s big on sugar, less on fats and quality. Those words mean to taste something before consuming and since everything is under the supervision of the government, caring and conscious producers, and a strong economy that make it easy to pay few bucks for a treat, Gotta say let’s have it and now let’s explore our options 🙂

1- Meiji

Ice cream is an orgasmic treat that we crave when we are depressed, happy and feel like we just did an accomplishment. So, It’s literally a runaway and an escapade into the world of taste buds excitement and happiness. Meiji is a giant dairy company in Japan which has introduced “Hello Panda” cookie who doesn’t like its cream, nutty, and chocolaty biscuit flavor. Yet now they are producing 1980s like a taste of simple chocolate over the cream. Calorie 200~250 cal

2- Cold Stone

Ice cream is made by combining milk, sugar, eggs yolks, and cream and churning it at a high speed. This process adds air to the mixture, giving it it’s creamy, airy texture. Gelato is also made from the milk, sugar, and cream, but it doesn’t often contain egg yolks. When compared to ice cream, gelato has more milk than cream and it’s churned at a much slower rate. That last part is key to making gelato gelato, because it means that less air is mixed into the dessert. Because gelato has less cream, and hence less butterfat, than ice cream, it’s lighter and needs less air to freeze; less air means it’s denser and creamier. Cold-Stone is a worldwide brand which has recently started introducing products that have a faster turn over than haagen-dazz, Godiva and Baskin Robbins so it’s worth trying you won’t be disappointed. Giant Cones are intoxicating, addictive and unbelievably delicious, you cant come to Japan without engorging few cones every week during summer and I personally do it during winter. So, Giant decided to come up with three new flavors in the year 2018 which are Macha, Mint, Strawberry. Well, that’s all good yet this mint flavor is a must try from my humble opinion.
